Every Monday I send an honest price range by email.
A 50% deposit puts you in the queue. Currently booking about 8 to 10 weeks out.
Your piece stays home until I'm ready. I'll call you to schedule drop-off.
Done to the plan, at the pace good work requires. I work 4 to 6 projects at a time. Any surprise gets a call, never a guess.
Balance settles up and it goes home, ready for years of use.
Right now I'm booking about 8 to 10 weeks out. Your deposit holds your place in line, but your piece stays at your home until it's your turn. I'll reach out to schedule drop-off when I'm ready for it. Once it's in the shop, I typically work on 4 to 6 projects at once, each at a different stage.
Finishing is a whole-shop event for me. I don't have a dedicated finish room, so when your piece is ready to be finished, everything else waits. Good finishing takes the right conditions and the right time. I won't give you a hard due date, but I will always keep you informed about where your piece is in the process. I'd rather quote a little long and hand your piece back early than rush it and let you down.
Everything starts with the form. Send at least 3 photos and your project details, and I'll email you an honest price range every Monday. If the range works, you'll get a firm written quote to approve before any deposit is paid. The photo estimate is a ballpark, the written quote is the real number. I don't take project inquiries by phone; the form keeps me in the shop and gets you a better answer.

Because I don't take in furniture until I'm actually ready to start on it. Your deposit reserves your place in the queue, and your piece stays safe and useful in your home until then. When your project reaches the front of the line, I'll call you to schedule drop-off. No piece sits in my shop for months waiting its turn.
Every quote assumes the piece is sound and suited to the finish you want. If I open it up and find loose veneer, old failed repairs, or a stubborn finish, I stop and call you before doing any extra work. Never a surprise charge.
Yes. The deposit reserves a spot set aside specifically for your project, so it's non-refundable once scheduled. You'll see and approve your written quote, and acknowledge the deposit terms, before you ever pay.
No. All work is done in the Rogers shop, where I can control color, sheen, and cure time. You're welcome to drop off and pick up, or I can arrange pickup and delivery for a fee based on your location.
I'll repaint a piece in a fresh color, but I don't strip existing paint back to bare wood. It's a different process with different materials and risk that I've chosen not to take on.
My shop minimum is $750 and standalone repairs start at $250. Beyond that it depends entirely on the piece. See the Services & Pricing page for typical ranges.
