Meet Jacy · Rogers, AR

It started with a brush.

A neighbor, a stack of 150-year-old farmhouse boards, and a stubborn belief that worn doesn't mean worthless. That's where It Is ReFinished began.

One man. One bench. Every piece personal.

The Story

From a few hand-painted signs to a shop full of heirlooms.

It began with a humble brush and a few hand-painted signs. Then a neighbor handed me a stack of splintered, 150-year-old farmhouse boards, and where most would see firewood, I saw the foundation of something special. From those planks I built a small end table that spoke of its past in every groove and knot. That was the spark.

Since then I've brought pianos whose keys once carried lullabies back to life, refinished desks etched with decades of ambition, and returned furniture rich with history to daily use. With every stripped layer, my desire to preserve the beauty and character of real woodwork has only grown.

Today, It Is ReFinished is a shop-based furniture refinishing and repair business in Rogers, Arkansas, serving families across all of Northwest Arkansas: Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, and beyond. What hasn't changed is the conviction at the heart of it: real, solid wood is almost always worth saving.

What I Believe

Why the name.

"It is finished." They're the words spoken on the cross, a declaration that the work was complete, that nothing more needed to be added. That's the standard I hold every piece to. Not "good enough." Finished.

I'm a God-fearing craftsman who believes in honest work, fair prices, and treating the piece you can't replace like it matters, because it does. The pieces that come through this shop carry weddings, holidays, and everyday suppers in their grain. They're worth saving, and they're worth doing right.
